Shares of Berger Paints (India) Ltd. slipped 2.3 per cent to Rs 746.65 in Monday’s trade as of 11:38AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 770.0 and low of Rs 745.15 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 24.72 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:38AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.4 crore around that time. The stock of Berger Paints (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 824.8 and 52-week low prices of Rs 431.55, respectively.

The stock’s Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.89.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 60.5 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while overseas investors held 11.52 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 0.91 per cent.

Key Financials

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2133.79 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 20.84 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 1765.73 crore and up 24.77 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 1710.13 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 274.8 crore, up 50.7 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
